Bluetooth file transfer

After carefully studying what phone to buy, I bought Samsung Spica last Saturday and it was still Android 1.5 out of the box, before that I have read reviews about this phone, and most of the complains are about Bluetooth. Mga Sir just want to ask, the Bluetooth setting in 1.5 only support pairing but not file transfer? and file transfer will only be available after upgrading it to 2.1 Eclair, am I right? Is there some work around or Apps that can do this in 1.5?

hinde ko pa mismo nasusubukan kasi wala akong maka pair na cp hehe
ako lang may bluetooth sa amin eh XD

Thanks polarb3ar, I would try that app... Samsung should fix this issue, average user would not know this...and will not recommend to buy this phone even if this phone is worth it for the price tag.

sorry guys, i just had my spica for more than a week, i'm still not exploring the capabilities of it. so does it mean that if you are running on 1.5 you can you still receive incoming file transfer? or all file transfers are not applicable?

from what I read Sir and after experimenting a little bit.
the 1.5 version only support device pairing e.g bluetooth headset, you can use application in order to make file transfer or recieve a file or better if you could bring that to samsung service center to upgrade it to 2.1.
Android 1.5 dont support Bluetooth file transfer.
It would be great if you could upgrade the OS to Android 2.1 (eclair) to enabled bluetooth file transfer.

we have tried it nung sinamahan kita bumili ng spica dude, kaya pala hindi tayo makapag file transfer ng pic through bluetooth, hindi pala supported ng 1.5.

hinde pa ba supported?
anyway nakapag file transfer na ako via bluetooth last week
tested with nokia and samsung phones hehe
