driver fails to install

ayaw mginstall ng usb driver pero yung PC studio naginstall naman, di tuloy madetect yung phone sa studio. as mass storage lang xa naddetect >.< pa help naman btw windows7 64-bit gamit ko, ver. 1.3.0 IJ1 yung version ng studio

sa pc studio hindi din na dedetect sakin pero na install ko naman yung usb drivers, nadamay ata nung nag install ako ng kies. and hindi mo din naman gaano ma gagamit yung pc studio, since pwede ka naman mag transfer ng files through mass storage, pwede ka naman mag back-up ng contacts and messages using gmail and 3rd party app to back-up sms. also kahit installed yung usb drivers ko, hindi pa din sha ma detect sa kies and pc studio. btw i'm using windows 7, 64 bit din.

no problem, and kahit siguro ma detect yung phone mo ngayon, sa pc studio, hindi pa din sha mag uupdate to 2.1 ang sasabihin lang niya na no updates avalible, and latest na yung FW mo which is 1.5.

pero I thought officially released na 2.1? kasi nabasa ko medyo may ilan na nakapag upgrade sa mga service centers. pero official or not ung 2.1 release,, spica rocks

sa mga service centers palang pero through net update, wala pa ata, hehehe, di bale, dadating din tayo jan hehehe enjoy nalang natin spica natin

Mga sir...im trying to go to samsung ortigas center to upgrade my Spica, just want to ask if they are using the offcial upgrade or using Odin, I am reading some threads kasi that some service centers uses Odin...

Sir if ever na makapunta ka it would be very much appreciated if post mo dito kung official ba ung gamit nila or Odin, I tried to upgrade using NPS 1.4 last night, but still the update is not available. I am tempted to use Odin Multiloader, using the leaked ROM but I am afraid to brick my phone...hehehe!

sir pinoygeek, salamat sa info, try ko pumunta today or tom. and post ko every bit of details, tinry ko install yung NPS but ung usb drivers may errors upon installing inde madetect yung phone other than mass storage, sa service center nalang para sure. thanks ulit sir

Sir if you are going to use NPS you need to de activate the USB mass storage mode before connecting your device to your PC, just go to Settings - About phone - Additional Settings and uncheck Mass storage only, by default kasi mass storage uns settings nung spica, in order for the NPS to detect the phone you need to de activate this options...

Try mo muna pala din tawagan before ka pumunta, some service centers only serve as drop off points ng Samsung products and sa other branch nila yung may service tech support, learn that the hard way...heheh

yup tnry ko na din yun sir, but still the usb driver fails to install, could be because I'm using win7 64-bit, pero I remember sir villy was also win7 64-bit user pero naginstall yung usb drivers nya.

try you download ung latest version ng NPS, ang alam ko 1.3.x.x ung sa CD na kasama sa box, i downloaded last night the 1.4.x.x version ng NPS, baka gumana!

ahh yah 1.3 yung galing sa cd from the box, sir may link ka for 1.4 ver? tnry ko sa samsung ph d ko mhnap eh , nga pla sir, sales lang daw po yung sa northerntel, sa megamall daw sir ang service office nila, 631-1276 ang binigay na #, try ko tawagan later to confirm sir 10mins ng busy eh hehe

Badtrip nga yang mga Service center na yan, siguro mas maganda na talaga ung sa may San Juan.

Tnawagan ko sir yung cell # na bnigay galing sa BSD int'l, try daw po iupdate tom. feel ko most likely odin cguro gamit nila dun, but still on the brightside atleast mauupgrade na sana successful, update ko kayo sir tom. about sa details

d ko alam ano gnamit ng samsung na prog. for updating my phone, hindi kasi on the spot nila gnwa, dinala nla sa room sa likod ng help desk. sa greenhills bonaventura plaza (main office ng samsung) ako ngpaupgrade so far very satisfied ako sa upgrade. using helix launcher as my home. still trying out some apps , using dolphin browser and xscope browser

I think next week punta ako dun, the latest firmware for asia is jc4, pero ok na din yang jc2 and buti helix launcher kasi from what i am reading in other forums the default patheon is quite laggy...thank you so much! May i ask how long did it take then to upgrade your phone...

welcome po sir, took about 30mins i think (sabi kasi nung representative na nkausap ko it'll take 1hr) actually pantheon ang default sir, dinownload ko na agad helix launcher habang nsa greenhills ako hehe. yep pantheon is laggy lalo na pag ngsscroll you'll notice some delay and pauses sa pantheon.

Mga sirs, try installing the latest Samsung Kies. It works for Windows 7 64-BIT. Yun po ginamit ko.

Before installing make sure you set the compatibility of the installer to "Vista Service Pack 2" and run it as an administrator.
